You can now drive all the way to the water tree, but can still not get around the hairpin turn – this is the snow stick as of May 5th:

Thanks for the update. Hopefully I can make it up quaking hallow in the truck by the weekend. But I will take the 4 wheeler just in case.
Bret, I think blake is going to run his grader down to the bottom so you shoud be able to drive your truck up all the way.

Any update on the roads this week? Are they wet and muddy or have they dried out enough to drive on?
I was up there this last weekend. With the snow that we had late last week it set the roads back by a week. I had the 4 wheeler in four wheel drive just to get up to northfork. I suspect that by the weekend you should be able to get to the water corner. Anything higher than that will still have snow. There is still a good 18 inches of snow on the top part of quaking hallow. Same for the top part of northfork. Not sure what the roads are like on the north side.

Does anyone know how far you can get up quaking hollow road? Can you make it to edge wood or north fork?
You can’t unless you have a 4 wheeler with 4X4 and very good tires. The last 1/4 mile before edgewood has about 1-2 feet of snow still. It will be another 3-4 weeks before it clears out. On the positive side by next weekend you should be able to drive a 4X4 truck to edgewood and quaking hallow by this weekend if it doesn’t snow to much. You won’t be able to go up quaking to north fork though. That is maybe two weeks away.
